Here at Arizona Maltese Gems we do tons of training of the puppies before they leave us at 10-12 weeks old. We do Early Neural Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, Avidog Program, Puppy Culture Program and Puppy Brain methods.

We start potty training as soon as their eyes open at 2 weeks old. They do amazing with potty training on the artificial turf. They have been started on crate training and they love their crates. We introduce them to a new item in their area every day. They get to see, smell, chew on and walk on several items and surfaces to broaden their experiences in any way possible. This creates a confident, smart, independent puppy.

They are raised in our home as members of our family and get to hear the vacuum, hair dryer, blender, TV, etc.

Puppies are carried around the house and yard to experience all of a home life when they are little. When they are old enough they get to go through the doggy door to the new world of outside life.

We play a wide variety of sounds for them, so they are not scared of fireworks, firetruck sirens, helicopters, etc.
